UPDATE: I have noticed that my WiFi symbol in the bottom right corner of my screen seems to have been replaced by an icon of a desktop monitor with a cable. If you need any more information, I will be happy to give it to you. I am a student, and I need to use the Internet in order to access my assignments. I've read other questions and answers about this problem on this forum, but none of the solutions have worked for me (that, or I'm not doing them right, which is totally possible). Right now I am accessing the Internet by plugging the Ethernet cable into my laptop, but I am supposed to be able to access the Internet wirelessly. Also, it was connecting to the Internet fine yesterday. I know that my router is working because my other device (smartphone) is connected to my network, and the other members of my family haven't experienced any problems connecting to the Internet. Since this morning, my laptop hasn't been able to connect wirelessly to the Internet my Wifi menu keeps telling me that no networks can be found.
